Mid-August reflections
August is the season of heatwaves, but many parts of the world have been experiencing extreme, above-normal temperatures. There have been several extreme heat warnings around the world over the past few weeks.
What feels extreme to you right now? Weather, emotions, creativity? Explain in a poem or prose. What is the antidote to the extreme–a cool swim, rain, night air? Write for 10 minutes.
