Here it comes…
End-of-the-year updates and podcast news!
Season 2 of Her Deepest Ecologies-The Podcast will be rolling out next week!
Starting on Monday, enjoy a conversation each day as we approach the longest night of the year, Winter Solstice on December 21st. I am excited for you to learn about the great work my guests have been doing in the world and there is a lot to glean from our illuminating conversations.
This podcast takes on two fundamental and interconnected questions:
How do we care for ourselves and each other?
How do we nurture the Earth?
Thank you for your support and many thanks to the Jack Straw Artist Support Program for the time and studio space. I am so grateful for these guests—Andi Lloyd, Christophe Chagnard , Jared Beloff, Emily Gigot, Louis Ledford, and Martha Silano! You can listen here on Substack or the season will be available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
Upcoming Workshops
There are a few workshop opportunities (poetry, memoir, and a mixture of both) with me in early 2025. Registration and more information can be found here.

Join me in conversation with Michael N. McGregor on January 9th at the Cascadia Art Museum in Edmonds, WA. Tickets available here.
Winter is coming in for a landing!
I wanted to share a few photos of the Trumpeter swans that have been visiting our neighbor’s cornfield this week. Take good care as we enter into a new season.

Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for.
