New Beginnings…

Some changes to my Substack+website!

Some changes to my Substack+website!

Hello friends and nature writers!

For me, September feels like a season of change and a chance to hunker down and get things done. This has site has been a wonderful three-year journey and I appreciate how it has morphed into different forms and content over this time.

I am grateful for your follows and messages!

Currently, I am redoing my personal website and will be changing how I connect and keep in touch with readers and students in three main ways:

Change #1: This Substack will remain Her Deepest Ecologies-The Podcast. Please check out Seasons 1 & 2 and look for Season 3 in 2026. Woohoo! I love these conversations and learned so much from my guests. Check it out!

Change #2: Going forward, I will be sending out an email newsletter 3-4 times a year. This will have the updates, classes, and events I normally share here.

Change #3: The new website (launching late fall 2025) will now house my writing prompts and recent publication—I can’t wait to share it with you. The ecological writing prompts will continue to be free in the spirit of community and collective creativity.

So…why am I making these changes?

The easiest answer is simplicity.

This year has been *complicated* and I have learned a lot. I need to spend more time each day writing. My current and future book projects are near and dear to my heart and I look forward to bringing them into the world, but this requires more time with the blank page and less time on the socials. I am excited to simplify and still stay connected in a way that feels mutually beneficial.

To all my paid subscribers—thank you! Your support was essential.

To my students and readers—stay with me! I am not going anywhere, just changing forms.

More soon!
